Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support project-based initiatives within our organization. The ideal candidate will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that requirements are clearly understood and translated into effective system solutions. Experience in the insurance industry is an advantage but not required. This role follows a hybrid work arrangement based in BGC, Taguig City.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, workflows, and processes.
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for development teams.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and discussions with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, QA analysts, and project managers to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
  • Create and maintain requirement documentation such as BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and process flows.
  • Conduct impact analysis to assess upstream and downstream effects of proposed changes.
  • Assist in system testing, including test case preparation, execution, and defect tracking.
  • Support UAT activities by coordinating with business users and ensuring issues are documented and resolved.
  • Perform root cause analysis and recommend system or process improvements.
  • Ensure timely updates, communication, and alignment with all project stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance on best practices and standards for business analysis and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Business Systems Analyst.
  • Experience in the insurance industry (life or non-life) is a strong plus.
  • Solid understanding of systems development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong documentation skills, including experience creating business rules, process flows, and functional specs.
  • Proficiency with analysis tools such as Visio, Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup and coordinate both onsite and remote teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, project-based environment.

Work Arrangement

  • Hybrid setup, with on-site days in BGC, Taguig City depending on project requirements.
  • Project-based contract, subject to extension based on performance and project demand.

Job Type: Fixed term

Pay: Php50, Php80,000.00 per month
