About the role

Ascendion is seeking an experienced Automation Tester to join our dynamic team in Metro Manila. As an Automation Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge software products. What you'll be doing

  1. Designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive test automation frameworks
  2. Automating the execution of functional, regression, and performance tests
  3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address testing requirements
  4. Analysing test results, identifying defects, and providing detailed reports to stakeholders
  5. Continuously improving testing processes and implementing best practices
  6. Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in software testing

What we're looking for

  1. Extensive experience (2-5 years) in software testing, with a strong focus on test automation
  2. Proficiency in writing and maintaining automated test scripts using frameworks such as Tosca or Selenium
  3. Familiarity with programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript
  4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically
  5. Strong understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies
  6. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  7. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
