Job Summary:

The Jewelry Sales Officer is responsible for driving sales, providing exceptional customer service, and offering expert advice on fine jewelry. The role requires in-depth knowledge of jewelry craftsmanship, gemstones, and diamonds, enabling the officer to guide clients in making informed purchases and building long-term relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers, providing personalized recommendations based on their preferences and budget.
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of diamond grading (4Cs: cut, color, clarity, carat) and other precious gemstones.
  • Explain craftsmanship details, jewelry settings, metal types, and care instructions to clients.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets.
  • Maintain an updated understanding of current jewelry trends, collections, and designs.
  • Ensure accurate product presentation and merchandising in the showroom.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales support with professionalism.
  • Prepare sales reports, client records, and contribute to customer loyalty programs.
  • Collaborate with management to execute promotional activities and events.
  • Uphold the company's image by maintaining high standards of appearance, etiquette, and professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Gemology, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in luxury retail sales, preferably in fine jewelry.
  • Strong knowledge of jewelry craftsmanship, metals, gemstones, and diamonds.
  • Certification in gemology (e.g., GIA, HRD, IGI) is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong customer service orientation.
  • Sales-driven, result-oriented, and able to build lasting client relationships.
  • Attention to detail and appreciation for luxury products.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays as required.
