Job DescriptionGlobal Client Support Services works with issuers, acquirers, processors, and merchants worldwide to develop and deliver the support model for Visa Inc. This includes day-to-day operations and product support, back office support and customer performance reporting. This is an individual contributor role responsible for identifying and resolving issues of moderate complexity.

This position is at an intermediate professional level and requires strong execution and analytical abilities. This role works independently and receives minimal guidance only in the most complex situations. The role will analyze and troubleshoot user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems under broadly defined practices and procedures, including working with developers in analyzing and developing process improvements for system administration/environmental build function.

Position SummaryThe Senior Software Test Engineer of the Global Client Testing (GCT) team reports into Visa's Global Client Services group. The Global Client Testing (GCT) team is responsible for ensuring compliance of clients' transaction processing software/hardware to VISA's technical requirements. Before activation of a Visa project or service, the GCT team carry out tests with clients to ensure the integrity of transaction processing through VisaNet and DPS.The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing tests, validations, and certifications of transaction processing for the Global Client Testing (GCT) organization.

He/she will perform Functional and Regression testing for Test Transaction Processing Environments and simulators. The candidate will need detailed analytical skills and a good understanding of the test methodologies to be able to interface directly and take decisions with staff members of GCT, Product Management, Project Management, Client Implementations and Development. ResponsibilitiesResponsible for testing, validating, certifying, documentation, and support of systems application and solutions.

Supports client testing tasks across key systems (VIP and/or BASE II/VSS and/or DPS), ensuring error-free implementations. Supports Chip testing on cards and terminals. Works directly with the product offices to understand new enhancement or services in support of client Betas in support of Visa or DPS initiatives

Responsible for coordinating with QA, Development and the PMO office on the delivery of enhancements of technical changes into certification

Accountable for the design, plan, and test execution in support of products requirements

Working closely with Product and Implementations defining testing implementation process

Manages ad-hoc testing & information requests independently

Actively contribute to the effectiveness of the team by supporting and co-operating with colleagues based across various Visa regions, providing cover during periods of absence. This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

QualificationsBachelors' Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems or Technology-related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in Software testing in the areas of Mobile, Web based, Client - Server applications using Manual and Automation testing techniques. Well versed in Manual testing techniques and methodologies.

Minimum of 3 years testing experience with handset testing and handset platforms in particular Android, iOS.Expertise in writing Test strategy, Test Plan Preparation and Implementation, Test Case Design, Test Tool usage, Test execution, Defect Management and Defect Tracking. Experience in SDLC like Agile (Scrum), WaterfallExtensively worked on various Testing types such as Integration, System, Functional, Regression, Sanity, Smoke, User-interface (GUI), Data base and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Performance TestingAbility to successfully manage multiple deadlines and multiple projects effectively through a combination of business and technical skills.

A demonstrated ability to work in a high-pressure environment with minimal errors. Proven ability to work efficiently in both independent and team environments

Demonstrated good analytical skills. Experience in various financial domains. Good knowledge on Banking, Retail, Insurance, and direct Visa experience is a plus.

Amenable to work in different shifts mid and GYTechnicalGood knowledge and testing experience on Mobile testing tool like Appium, TestFlightFamiliar with ISO 8583 messages and flow. Knowledge in Chip payment solutions (EMV). Knowledge in e-Commerce transaction processing, 3DS, Visa SecureExperience in IBM/MVS, Tandem.

Familiar with VTS-VIP, Edit Package. Understanding of Visa's Operating Regulations, a plus. VBA/JavaScript programming capability.

Expertise on Testing REST API using Postman and SOAP UIStrong knowledge in web services testing via Tool SOAP UI/ Restful web services

Good experience on Continuous Integration Tools like Jenkins. Execution of automated test scripts using Mercury Tools (Test Director/Quality Center, LoadRunner, and QTP), JMeter based on business/functional specifications. Background in using automated test tools like Selenium for Functional and Regression Testing.

Experience in developing Automation Framework Using Selenium Web Driver and J2EE.Good Knowledge on using BDD Frameworks like Cucumber. Good experience on Build and Configuration Tools like ANT and MAVEN.Strong in writing SQL queries to perform backend data validations. Strong knowledge on Hadoop and

No-SQL databases like Mongo DBWorking experience with defect tracking tools like Jira, and Test Director/Quality Center (QC) and Team Foundation Server. BusinessFluent in written and spoken English. Proficient in performing causal analysis to identify changes to improve processing performance and/or client profitability.

Proficient in managing and presenting ideas and data using desktop tools such as MS Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint. Demonstrates professional written and verbal communication skills. Accepts input and guidance.
