Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Creating designs for mechanical systems, components, and products, often using CAD software and engineering principles.
  • Evaluating the performance of mechanical components and systems, conducting tests to ensure they meet specifications and safety standards.
  • Identifying and resolving issues with mechanical systems and devices, developing maintenance procedures and schedules.
  • Managing projects, including budgets, timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Overseeing the installation and operation of mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring they are functioning correctly and safely.
  • Working with other engineers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure that mechanical systems integrate effectively with other systems and meet overall project goals.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Licensed as a professional engineer.
  • Experience working in the mechanical engineering field.
  • Superior computer skills, with solid experience in CAD.
  • Ability to run simulations and analyze test data.
  • Ability to write clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Highly analytical mind, with exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
