  • Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their products and services.
  • Negotiating and securing favorable terms and pricing with suppliers.
  • Creating and maintaining accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring timely replenishment of stock.
  • Collaborating with other departments to determine purchasing needs and specifications.
  • Reviewing and approving purchase orders and invoices.
  • Resolving any issues or discrepancies with suppliers or deliveries.
  • Developing and implementing purchasing strategies to optimize cost savings and efficiency.
  • Conducting supplier performance evaluations and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers.
  • Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree relevant to the job
  • Experience: At least one (1) year experience in procurement (purchasing, sourcing, supplier and/or inventory management) 
  • Training: None required  Competencies: Exemplifying Integrity and Professionalism, Strategic and Systems Thinking, Delivering Excellent Results, Fostering Teamwork, Building Collaborative, Inclusive, Working Relationships, Nurturing a High Performing Organization
