Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, or a related design/engineering field
  • Graduate of a PRC-recognized Interior Design program and knowledge in project or construction management
  • At least 2 - 3 years of extensive experience in interior design, construction, or space planning
  • Experience in fit-out work, renovation projects, and material sourcing
  • Experience in architectural and Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) plans
  • Experience in material selection and measurement, and coordination of construction work
  • Has used AutoCAD, SketchUp/Revit, and Excel/Google Sheets for design and management purposes

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in optimizing and enhancing the functionality and aesthetics of campus spaces based on usage, safety, and institutional goals.
  • Coordinate closely with stakeholders such as faculty, staff, students, and external contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Translate design requirements into layouts and finishes that follow CIIT's branding, ergonomics, and quality standards.
  • Support the selection and timely procurement of materials aligned with project scope and budget.
  • Oversee on-site installation and construction work to ensure alignment with plans and completion schedules.
  • Monitor expenses, support budget preparation, and coordinate with Finance for timely fund releases.
  • Prepare maintenance plans and recommend solutions for maintaining quality in high-traffic or functional areas.
  • Track project progress, prepare reports with documentation such as photos, expense summaries, and updates.
  • Lead coordination between design consultants, contractors, and internal teams to meet timelines and ensure satisfaction.
  • Take charge of the overall presentation and visual identity of CIIT's campuses and spaces, making sure all designs contribute to a cohesive institutional image.
