Job Description – Sales Staff / Stock Clerk
Position Summary:
The Sales Staff / Stock Clerk is responsible for assisting customers, maintaining store displays, and ensuring that stock levels are well-managed. This role combines customer service with inventory support to ensure smooth store operations and a positive shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with product inquiries, purchases, and concerns.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Organize and replenish merchandise on shelves and display areas.
- Monitor stock levels and inform the team of low or fast-moving items.
- Assist in receiving, unpacking, labeling, and storing deliveries.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the sales floor and stockroom.
- Support in conducting regular inventory counts and stock audits.
- Work closely with the sales team to achieve store sales targets.
Skills & Qualifications:
- At least 1-2 years of retail experience (preferred).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of stock management and inventory handling.
- Physically fit and able to lift, move, and arrange merchandise.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Educational & Work Requirements:
- High school graduate or college level/graduate.
- Prior retail or stock handling experience is an advantage.

- Willing to learn and adapt to store needs.
