Job Description – Sales Staff / Stock Clerk

Position Summary:

The Sales Staff / Stock Clerk is responsible for assisting customers, maintaining store displays, and ensuring that stock levels are well-managed. This role combines customer service with inventory support to ensure smooth store operations and a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers with product inquiries, purchases, and concerns.
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Organize and replenish merchandise on shelves and display areas.
  • Monitor stock levels and inform the team of low or fast-moving items.
  • Assist in receiving, unpacking, labeling, and storing deliveries.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the sales floor and stockroom.
  • Support in conducting regular inventory counts and stock audits.
  • Work closely with the sales team to achieve store sales targets.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • At least 1-2 years of retail experience (preferred).
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of stock management and inventory handling.
  • Physically fit and able to lift, move, and arrange merchandise.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

Educational & Work Requirements:

  • High school graduate or college level/graduate.
  • Prior retail or stock handling experience is an advantage.
