Summary:

As a Warehouse Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient operations of the warehouse, ensuring the seamless flow of goods and materials to support the manufacturing, distribution and logistics activities. You will also be responsible for leading a team and optimizing warehouse processes to drive productivity and customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of materials and products
  • Manage daily workload and train a team of associates, ensuring they adhere to safety protocols and warehouse procedures
  • Investigate and resolve problems and arising customer complaints related to products issued from the warehouse
  • Monitor inventory levels, identify discrepancies, and implement solutions to maintain accurate stock records
  • Develop logistics network and provide added value to the existing services offered
  • Optimise warehouse layout and workflow to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Oversee the maintenance of the warehouse facilities, equipment and safety protocols to ensure a clean, organized and safe working environment
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Manage and execute warehouse Business Contingency Plan (BCP) and allocate resources to manage order fulfilment during crisis
  • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of any 4 year course
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Warehouse Supervisor
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management best practices, including inventory management, quality and const control, storage optimization and supply chain logistics
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and make timely decisions
  • Effective communication and leadership skills to motivate and manage a team of warehouse operators
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations applicable to warehouse operations
