Position: Assistant Warehouse Manager

Position Summary:

The Assistant Warehouse Manager supports the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, dispatch, and delivery of goods. This role includes managing a team, maintaining inventory accuracy, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibility:

  • Assist in planning, organizing, and supervising warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
  • Monitor workflow and ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Enforce compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
  • Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with procurement and sales teams to manage stock levels.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff.
  • Assign tasks and monitor performance to ensure efficiency.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Maintain documentation for shipments, receipts, and other warehouse activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field preferred
  • 2–4 years in warehouse operations or logistics, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Proficient in inventory management systems and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
