Job Title:
Nihongo Teacher (Contract Role)

Location:
Cebu, Visayas

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (excluding national, special, and local holidays)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced
Nihongo Teacher
to conduct Japanese language training in Cebu. This role primarily focuses on teaching higher-level JLPT courses and business Japanese to adult learners or professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Nihongo classes focused on:
  • JLPT N3 to N2

  • JLPT N2 to N1

  • Conduct practice lessons in Japanese business communication and speaking

  • If needed and time permits, teach lower levels:

  • JLPT N5 to N4

  • JLPT N4 to N3

  • Prepare teaching materials and assess learners' progress

  • Follow prescribed curriculum and teaching guidelines

Basic Qualifications:

  • Preferably a
    native or expert Japanese speaker
    , given the advanced language level required
  • Experience teaching JLPT levels, especially N2 and N1
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge or experience in Japanese business culture and formal language is a plus
