Job Location: Clark Outsourcing - Building 35 Philexcel Business Park, Clark Pampanga

Quick Rundown:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to oversee the companys accounting functions and lead the accounts team. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of day-to-day accounting activities, including managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. This role involves both strategic oversight and hands-on involvement in financial operations, with a focus on VAT, CIS, and year-end tasks

What Youll Do:

  • Manage Daily Accounting Operations: Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and posting journal entries to ensure accurate financial records.

  • VAT Returns: Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with HMRC regulations and Making Tax Digital (MTD) requirements.

  • CIS Compliance: Oversee the submission of CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) returns and manage the process of issuing CIS vouchers to subcontractors.

  • Month-End and Year-End Procedures: Manage month-end and year-end accounting tasks, including preparing financial statements, performing reconciliations, and supporting the preparation of year-end accounts.

  • Cash Flow Management: Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts to ensure the company has the necessary liquidity for day-to-day operations and planned expenditures.

  • Prepare Financial Reports: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the Head of Finance, providing insights into the companys financial performance.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with business goals.

  • Internal Controls and Financial Procedures: Develop, implement, and maintain internal financial controls to ensure operational efficiency and mitigate financial risk.

  • Team Management: Lead and support the accounts team, providing guidance and training to ensure accurate and efficient work while maintaining a high level of professional standards.

  • Checking and processing Energy Company RFIs and invoicing, ensuring accurate and timely payments.

  • Expense and Retention Tracking: Review and validate employee expense sheets, track retention payments on contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies.

  • Ad-Hoc Financial Tasks: Assist with special projects, financial analysis, and any other financial tasks as required by management.

What Were Looking For:

  • Proven experience in an Accounts Manager role, with experience in managing day-to-day accounting functions and leading a team.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, VAT, CIS, payroll, and financial reporting in the UK.

  • Hold a qualification in accounting or finance.

  • Experience with the accounting software QuickBooks

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, with advanced skills in financial analysis and reporting.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial reporting and data management.

  • Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop an accounting team.

  • Excellent communication skills, able to liaise effectively with senior management, external auditors, and financial partners.
