Job Title: Accounting Supervisor
Department: Operations/ Branch Finance
Reports To: BFM
Location: Balintawak

Job Summary:
The Accounting Supervisor oversees daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with internal controls and financial regulations. This role is responsible for managing a team of accounting staff, preparing financial reports, and supporting audits and month-end closings. Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the accounting team (e.g., accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations).Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements for accuracy and completeness.Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of financial reports.Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all financial information in accordance with GAAP (or other applicable standards).Support external and internal audits by preparing schedules and documentation as needed.Monitor and enforce internal controls and company accounting policies and procedures.Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to increase efficiency.Train, mentor, and evaluate accounting staff performance; assist with hiring and onboarding as needed.Collaborate with other departments to support overall financial goals and business operations.Stay up to date with changes in accounting regulations and technology. Qualifications:
Education:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.CPA or CMA certification preferred.Experience:3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience.1–2+ years in a supervisory or team lead role preferred.Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices (GAAP, IFRS, etc.).Skills:Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).Strong Excel skills and familiarity with data analysis tools.Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills.Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Working Conditions:Standard office hours with some overtime required during peak periods (e.g., month-end close, audits).
