Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Project Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs and timelines, ensuring projects are completed within budget and schedule constraints. Proficiency in EBM and knowledge of Blue Beam software is required for this role.

Pay Range: $9.50 per hour with a performance review scheduled after 90 days of employment. We believe in rewarding exceptional talents.

Objectives:

Conduct detailed project cost estimates, considering materials, labor, and other expenses.
Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop accurate project budgets and timelines.
Utilize EBM and Blue Beam software to streamline the estimating process and improve accuracy.
Monitor project costs throughout the project lifecycle, identifying and addressing any deviations from the budget.
Provide timely and accurate estimates for new projects and change orders.

Competencies:

Proven experience as a Project Estimator or similar role.
Proficiency in EBM (Estimating and Budgeting Management) software is required.
Knowledge with Blue Beam software is required.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge of construction industry practices and materials.

Equipment Requirements:

Computer/Laptop: Intel Core i7 (10th Gen or higher) with 32GB RAM for optimal performance. Mac Equivalent: MacBook Pro (M1 Pro, M2 Pro, or higher) or Mac Studio (M1 Max, M2 Max, or higher) with 32GB Unified Memory.
Dual Monitors (Preferred): Improves multitasking and efficiency when reviewing project plans.
High-Speed Internet: Ensures seamless cloud-based collaboration and software operation.

Physical Requirements:

Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
