We are seeking a highly motivated Tender Engineer / Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our team and support the preparation and submission of competitive tenders for construction and infrastructure projects across Australia. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong estimating and measurement skills and experience using digital quantity take-off tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation, coordination, and submission of tender packages.
Conduct accurate and timely quantity take-offs using CostX or similar software.
Review tender documentation and ensure compliance with client requirements.
Collaborate with estimators, engineers, and project managers to gather required inputs.
Support the development of tender pricing and bill of quantities (BOQs).
Maintain and update cost databases and tender documentation records.
Requirements:
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in tendering or estimating.
Proficiency in CostX or other digital take-off/measurement tools.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable:
Previous experience in a construction, consultancy, or infrastructure firm.
Familiarity with Australian standards and tendering procedures.
