About the role

As a Production Planner / Merchandiser at Luvicon Fashion House, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective planning and scheduling of production operations at our manufacturing facility in Cabuyao City, Laguna. This is a full-time position that will see you collaborate closely with the production to optimize the flow of materials and resources to meet customer demand.

What you'll be doing

  1. Developing and maintaining detailed production plans and schedules to meet sales and inventory targets
  2. Analysing production data, identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and implementing improvements
  3. Handle fabric and trim procurement in coordination with sourcing and purchase with the sourcing and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components
  4. Monitoring production KPIs and reporting on performance to management
  5. Collaborating with the sales team to understand customer demand and adjust production accordingly
  6. Maintaining inventory records and optimizing stock levels to reduce wastage and improve cash flow
  7. Prepare and maintain all relevant documentation (order sheets, costing, approvals, etc.)

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Planning, Operations Management or a related field
  2. Minimum 3 years' experience in a production planning or manufacturing scheduling role
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with data and identify trends
  4. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  5. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management principles
  6. Familiarity with merchandising and retail stock management practices
