As our Senior Mobile Application Developer, you'll take full ownership of Blueberry's React Native / Expo mobile app, leading its evolution across iOS and Android. You'll drive innovation, performance, and stability, and play a key role in shaping the future of Blueberry's mobile experience.

About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on, highly capable Senior Mobile Developer who can work independently while collaborating across teams. This role offers the freedom to lead technically and grow strategically, whether that means mentoring future mobile engineers or expanding into full-stack development.

Note: At Blueberry, moving with purpose means showing up, connecting, and building momentum together. This role is based onsite in Taguig, Manila, Monday to Friday, where the real magic happens.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Own, maintain, and evolve Blueberry's mobile app across iOS and Android

  • Lead end-to-end delivery — architecture, development, testing, and deployment

  • Ensure smooth releases and compliance with App Store and Play Store requirements

  • Integrate with APIs and third-party services to deliver seamless functionality

  • Optimize app performance, scalability, and user experience

  • Enforce security best practices and data protection

  • Collaborate closely with backend, design, and product teams

  • Contribute new ideas, frameworks, and practices to continuously enhance quality

  • Drive innovation in mobile architecture and feature development

  • Set standards for maintainability and code quality



Skills And Experiences

Who We're Hoping to Find

  • Strong experience building and maintaining React Native apps (Expo preferred)

  • Skilled in mobile architecture, component design, and state management (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, etc.)

  • Experienced with App Store / Play Store submissions, OTA updates, and CI/CD pipelines

  • Proficient in TypeScript, REST APIs, and integration best practices

  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and ownership mindset

  • Excellent communication skills and collaborative spirit

  • Comfortable working independently while partnering across distributed teams

Extra Points if You Have

  • Experience contributing to open-source React Native or Expo projects

  • Exposure to backend or full-stack environments (e.g. , .NET)

  • Familiarity with mobile performance monitoring tools (Firebase, Sentry)

  • Experience in fintech, trading, or financial services
