We are looking for an experienced
Senior Mobile Developer
with
5–7 years of hands-on mobile development
experience in
Android (Java SDK)
and
iOS (Swift)
. The developer will play a key role in building a
Mini App platform
, similar to GCash, integrated within our digital banking ecosystem. This is a
full onsite role
, requiring close collaboration with product, backend, and security teams to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing mobile solutions tailored for the banking domain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain mobile applications for
    Android (Java SDK)
    and
    iOS (Swift)
    as part of a
    Mini App project
    within the bank's main mobile platform.
  • Develop modular, scalable, and secure mobile features following banking compliance and cybersecurity standards.
  • Work with cross-functional teams—product owners, business analysts, UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and QA—to translate requirements into robust technical implementations.
  • Ensure smooth integration with backend systems, APIs, and authentication services (e.g., OAuth, biometrics).
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce clean coding practices, performance optimization, and adherence to security guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, app crashes, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and mobile application design discussions.
  • Ensure the Mini App meets high availability, user experience, and security expectations typical of financial applications.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives).

Mandatory Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of relevant professional experience
    in mobile development.
  • Strong expertise in:
  • Android development using Java SDK
  • iOS development using Swift
  • Prior experience building applications for
    financial services, banking, fintech, or e-wallet platforms
    .
  • Strong understanding of mobile security best practices including:
  • Secure data storage
  • Obfuscation
  • SSL pinning
  • Authentication flows
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs, JSON-based services, and third-party SDKs.
  • Solid experience with mobile architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, MVP).
  • Proficiency in Git and CI/CD practices.
  • Knowledge of performance tuning, debugging tools, and mobile optimization techniques.
  • Ability to work full onsite and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience developing
    wallet-like or Mini App ecosystems
    such as GCash, Grab Mini Apps, WeChat Mini Programs, etc.
  • Familiarity with financial transaction flows, KYC processes, and digital payment frameworks.
  • Knowledge of mobile frameworks for modular Mini App development.
  • Experience with push notifications, Firebase, analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with Kotlin and/or Objective-C.
  • Background in Agile/Scrum practices.
