About the role

Daluyon Beach and Mountain Resort is seeking a talented and experienced Seasonal Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This is a contract position based in the vibrant Puerto Princesa City, Palawan. As a Seasonal Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests, contributing to the overall success of our resort.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and cooking a variety of high-quality dishes according to established recipes and standards
  • Ensuring all food items are fresh, properly portioned, and presented with attention to detail
  • Maintaining a clean and organised workstation, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation protocols
  • Collaborating with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and special dishes
  • Assisting with inventory management and stock rotation to minimise waste
  • Providing exceptional customer service and responding to guest requests and dietary needs

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hotel kitchen
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety regulations
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and thrive under pressure
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a customer-service oriented mindset
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
