Job purpose:

The Senior Manager – Warehouse Operations is responsible for overseeing and managing warehouse operations across Luzon and Vis-Min, including Value Added Services (VAS), warehouse qualification for bid proposals, and new project start-up management. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, this role ensures operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and service excellence. The Senior Manager provides strategic direction and guidance to warehouse teams, ensuring alignment with business goals and client expectations while preventing customer claims, penalties, and service failures.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee warehouse operations in Luzon and Vis-Min to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality service delivery.
  • Supervise warehouse teams and ensure alignment of their activities with strategic goals. Ensure flexibility in manning and responsiveness to customer needs.
  • Monitor and review performance metrics, including IRA, P&L, and service levels.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory requirements across all warehouse facilities.
  • Manage and implement Value Added Services (VAS) in alignment with client requirements. Lead warehouse qualification efforts for bid proposals and ensure readiness for new business opportunities.
  • Oversee and execute new project start-ups within the shortest possible time frame.
  • Maintain strong relationships with client-principals and support business expansion initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of service excellence, quality, flexibility, and cost consciousness.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and legislative changes affecting warehouse operations.
  • Ensure staff training is current and compliant with legal standards.

Qualifications:

  • Educational attainment : Bachelor's Degree. Preferably Industrial Engineering. Any Engineering discipline and business related course can be considered.
  • Years of related experience : At least 5 years managerial experience in warehousing operation within a 3PL service provider setting. Total of at least 10 years experience in supply chain and logistics field
