Position Summary:

Ensures proper inventory levels across stores, warehouse, and bakery while managing purchasing and supplier coordination to support sales and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocks across all locations
  • Prepare demand forecasts based on sales performance, trends, and operational needs
  • Plan and execute purchasing from approved suppliers, ensuring alignment ith credit terms, costs, and quality standards
  • Oversee delivery planning and coordination between suppliers, warehouse, and stores.
  • Proposes category management initiatives, including new product development, assortment planning, and supplier negotiations
  • Work closely with Admin and Finance on credit notes, replacements, and disposal of returned items
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance in all purchasing and supplier management processes
  • Provide regular reporting on sales, inventory movements, and forecasts to guide management decisions
  • Performs other related duties as may be assigned from time to time to support business objectives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in inventory planning, demand forecasting, or procurement.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with proficiency in Excel/ERP systems.
  • Experience in retail or FMCG preferred
  • Negotiation skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
