Key Responsibilities

Client Services:

  • Greet clients warmly and ensure they feel welcome.

  • Alert salon personnel when clients arrive and assist with any inquiries they may have.

Scheduling and Administration:

  • Manage appointment bookings, cancellations, and reminders through phone calls, emails, and text messages

  • Maintain client records and perform general administrative tasks, such as filing and data entry.

Financial Management:

  • Process client payments using cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.

  • Issue receipts and keep accurate records of all transactions.

Operations and Organization:

  • Keep the reception and waiting areas clean, tidy, and professionally presentable.

  • Manage inventory, ensure supplies are adequately stocked, and assist with opening and closing procedures.

Communication:

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls.

  • Respond to emails and inquiries

Sales and Support:

  • Provide information about current services, promotions, and products.

  • Upsell services and products to clients when appropriate.

Support for Staff:

  • Assist salon personnel and other salon staff with administrative tasks as needed.
