Meat Life Sciences is a global life sciences recruitment leader supporting innovative biotech, pharma, medical devices, and technology organisations. With increasing demand across permanent and contract hiring, the business is launching a new offshore recruitment model to scale delivery across multiple markets.
Expansion International has been selected as the pilot offshoring partner to build a high-performance sourcing team of two to four Recruiters. This model focuses on speed, quality control, and proactive sourcing to support fast moving and high volume hiring needs globally.
Role Overview
We are hiring experienced and high-energy Recruitment Specialists who thrive in fast paced hiring environments. The role focuses on sourcing, screening, and submitting qualified candidates aligned to complex life sciences and technical job briefs.
This role is ideal for individuals who operate with urgency, are confident on the phone, and know how to work high volume pipelines using advanced search strategies. You will partner closely with global job owners and delivery teams based primarily in Europe and the United States.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Sourcing and Market Mapping
- Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Bullhorn ATS, Boolean strings, talent pools, and targeted outreach campaigns.
- Produce at least 30 screened candidates per week, with a minimum of 10 qualified CVs submitted weekly.
- Adapt sourcing strategies to diverse roles across life sciences, biotech, pharmaceuticals, medical technology, and software engineering.
- Conduct structured phone screens using British or American local numbers for improved engagement.
- Assess candidates based on technical match, role alignment, experience depth, and suitability against client briefs.
- Maintain strict quality control to ensure at least 50 percent suitability on CVs submitted.
- Utilise a standardised screening template for consistency.
- Manage candidate records within Bullhorn ATS with complete accuracy.
- Track activity, outreach volume, and screening decisions to maintain high transparency and quality control.
- Provide job owners with timely updates and flag risks early.
- Work closely with UK and US job owners, who also function as sales partners.
- Participate in rapid feedback loops to refine candidate profiles and improve future submissions.
- Support initial candidate vetting before the two stage client interview process.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience
Minimum Requirements
- At least 3 years of end to end recruitment experience either in US or UK.
- Strong track record sourcing technical roles such as life sciences, biotech, pharma, engineering, software development, product, or analytics.
- Advanced LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search skills.
- Confident communicator with excellent phone presence and strong stakeholder alignment skills.
- Highly proactive, resourceful, and able to manage large volumes of outreach without supervision.
- Prior experience supporting life sciences or biotechnology recruitment.
- Background working with global clients, especially UK, Europe, and US.
- Ability to deliver consistent pipeline output under aggressive timelines.
Working Hours and Time Zone Flexibility
This function supports clients across Europe and the United States. Candidates must be adaptable to various shifts, including:
- Mid afternoon to midnight Philippines time (to support UK and EU teams).
- Late evening to early morning Philippines time, if aligned to US West Coast roles.
Flexibility will be assessed during screening to ensure alignment with active client demands.

- Zoom and VoIP calling software
- Email sequencing and outreach tools
All calling systems will be provided by the client.
Performance Expectations
- Minimum of 10 qualified CVs submitted weekly.
- Consistent screening of at least 30 candidates per week.
- Approximately two hours of daily phone time.
- Demonstrates resilience, urgency, and constant optimisation of search strategies.
- Operates as a results driven resource who acts quickly rather than over analysing.
