General Description of the Position:
Responsible for the 24/7 threat detection and analysis activities of the Security Operations Center. Responsible for continuously assessing the scope of visibility and quality of alerts that are generated for a client. Responsible for the efficiency and effectiveness of the threat detection capabilities of RRITSI.
Scope of Responsibilities:
Threat Detection and Analysis
- Analyzes security alerts generated in the client infrastructure through its available data sources that are onboarded to the RRITSI SOC platform.
- Escalates validated security cases to the client, while providing recommended next action steps.
- Coordinates the resolution of security cases with client-side Point of Contact through security case tickets.
- Provides recommendations in the continuous development of new and existing threat detection rules in order to optimize the detection capability of the team and reduce the triggering of false-positive and false-negative events.
- Ensures 100% compliance with the team's committed internal and external SLAs
