Motorento is a logistics startup specializing in two-wheeler fleet management in the Philippines. We offer end-to-end solutions—including company-owned motorcycles, salaried drivers, maintenance, and operational support—to help businesses, logistics firms, and ride-hailing platforms streamline their last-mile delivery operations.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and creative Marketing & Communications Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about storytelling, digital engagement, and brand building. You'll play a key role in managing our social media presence, creating compelling content, and supporting public relations initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow our social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Tiktok, etc.)
  • Create engaging content including posts, graphics, videos, and stories
  • Assist in drafting press releases, media pitches, and newsletters
  • Monitor media coverage and industry trends
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align messaging and campaigns
  • Support event promotion and community engagement efforts
  • Track and report on social media and PR performance metrics

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite, Buffer)
  • A plus: knowledge or interest in ride-hailing, food delivery, or tech/startup ecosystems
  • Self-starter with a creative mindset and attention to detail
  • Amenable to work on a hybrid set-up: Ideally once a week on-site, depending on your schedule.

Job Types: Part-time, OJT (On the job training)

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: Php5, Php8,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
