Job Qualifications:


•       Bachelor's degree or higher in Optical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.


• years of experience in optical design and development (or equivalent academic experience).


•       Proficiency in optical simulation tools


•       Has operational knowledge and experience in light and optical lenses that applies to analog and digital product systems


•       Experience with optical measurement tools and lab instrumentation.


•       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


•       Experience with imaging systems, lasers, camera, thermal devices, fiber optics, etc.


•       Familiarity with CAD tools and mechanical/thermal interfaces.

Job functions:


•       Design and develop optical systems including lenses, illumination setups, and optical assemblies.


•       Perform optical modeling and simulations using software


•       Develop tolerances, specifications, and test plans for optical components.


•       Conduct laboratory testing and validation of optical prototypes.


•       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate optical designs into larger systems.


•       Support manufacturing with optical alignment procedures and quality assurance.


•       Troubleshoot and resolve optical performance issues.


•       Prepare detailed design and BOM/BOQ/SE assumptions


•       Conduct pre-sales tasks such as preparation of presentation materials, product presentations and customer consultations


• Champions the product to customers and internal groups (Sales and Technical).


•       Collaboration with local and foreign vendors making sure to strengthen the sales and engineering capabilities of the team
