Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Audio Editor / Audio Production Executive to join our audio production team on a 6-month contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Logic Pro X, basic music theory, and experience working with digital instruments. This role involves editing and enhancing music tracks, creating MIDI phrases, and assisting with various audio tasks to support our production pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create simple MIDI-based music phrases using virtual instruments.
  • Layer and add digital instruments (MIDI) onto existing songs (Audio) using Logic Pro X.
  • Cut and re-align audio sections to match tempo and timing requirements.
  • Perform basic audio post-production tasks such as voiceover cleanup and adding sound effects to animations.
  • Log and track progress to ensure timely delivery of audio assets.
  • Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Logic Pro X.
  • Basic knowledge of musical instruments including piano, guitar, violin, and drums (playing skill not required, but must understand how they function).
  • Foundational knowledge of music theory (including articulations, dynamics, rhythm, etc.).
  • Ability to read basic music notation and scores.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to meet production deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a collaborative production environment.
  • Familiar with audio editing workflows for voiceovers and animation.
