The Program Officer for Scholar Care and Career Linkage will provide strategic leadership in ensuring scholars' holistic growth and success by strengthening wellbeing and engagement initiatives, fostering meaningful industry linkages, and enabling seamless transition from education to employment.

The role involves:

1.    Strategic Leadership

  • Set and execute the overall strategy for scholar care, engagement, and career readiness in alignment with program goals.
  • Lead the design of frameworks, policies, and programs that promote scholar success and personal growth.
  • Build a high-performing team that champions scholar-centered service.

2.    Scholar Wellbeing and Support

  • Oversee systems for early identification and intervention for scholars facing academic or personal challenges.
  • Ensure scholars have access to holistic development opportunities beyond academics.

3.    Engagement and Community Building

  • Drive the scholar engagement agenda through meaningful events, mentoring, and peer networks that cultivate belongingness and shared purpose.

4.    Industry Linkages and Career Pathways

  • Strengthen relationships with key partners across industry, academe, and government to support scholars' employability and lifelong career success.
  • Oversee internship and employment placement programs.
  • Lead initiatives that sustain alumni connections and monitor alumni engagements.

5.    Data, Learning, and Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure accurate and updated scholar and alumni databases for effective tracking and decision-making.
  • Analyze data on scholar wellbeing, engagement, and post-graduation outcomes to inform program enhancements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Human Development, Social Sciences, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in scholar development, education management, or stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven leadership experience in program and stakeholder management.
  • Strong background in relationship building with industry, government, and education partners.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and strategic planning skills.
  • Demonstrated passion for education and nation-building.
