A safety officer plays a crucial role in ensuring workplace safety and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Furnish workers a place free from hazardous conditions that are causing or are likely to cause illness or physical harm to the personnels/Manpower
Acts as Secretary of Safety and Health Organization
Daily monitoring and securing devices and equipment BEFORE and AFTER the work.
Liaise and coordination to private sector and other govemment agency
Participating and Conducting tool box meeting in daily basis.
Enforcing safety and health Guidelines, standards and Policies.
Promote safe practices at Job Site.
Acts in an advisory capacity on all matters pertaining to health and safety for the guidance of the manpower onsite.
Conducts investigation of accidents as a member of the health and safety in order to create a report and analysis of accidents on site.
Monitoring of all implementing rules and regulations with regards to Safety Observation Reports and Key Performance Indicator for Subcontractor
Securing the PPE's Issuance and Supply for the workforce/Manpower.
Assist in Regular Health and Safety Meeting at all EHS Personnel conducted by Safety Manager
Risk Assessment
➤ Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
➤ Evaluate risks and implement control measures to mitigate them.
➤ Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.
➤ Identify potential hazards and assess risks.
➤ Recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
➤ Conduct Regular Safety Observation Report to all subcon
Safety Training and Education
➤ Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees.
➤ Ensure that new hires receive appropriate safety orientation.
Compliance Monitoring
➤ Monitor workplace compliance with safety regulations and standards.
➤ Stay updated on current safety laws and regulations.
➤ Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
➤ Stay updated on relevant laws and industry standards
Incident/Accident Investigation
➤ Investigate accidents and incidents to determine causes.
➤ Prepare reports and recommend preventive measures.
Safety Policies and Procedures
➤ Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
➤ Review and update safety protocols as necessary.
Emergency Preparedness
➤ Create and maintain emergency response plans.
➤ Conduct drills and training for emergency situations.
Record Keeping
➤ Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training.
➤ Prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies.
Communication
➤ Communicate safety information and updates to employees.
➤ Act as a liaison between management and employees regarding safety concerns.
➤ Serve as a point of contact for safety-related issues.
Safety Equipment Inspection
➤ Ensure that safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) are available and in good condition.
➤ Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of safety gear.
Promoting Safety Culture
➤ Foster a culture of safety within the organization.
➤ Encourage employees to report hazards and participate in safety initiatives.
Documentation and Reporting
➤ Maintain safety records and documentation.
➤ Prepare reports on safety performance and incidents for management.
Collaboration
➤ Work with management and employees to foster a safe workplace.
➤ Collaborate with external agencies during audits and inspections.
Reports
➤ Submit all daily reports including PTW, TSTI, TBT and EHS Committee meeting via GC, hard copy must file
➤ Submit all Weekly Reports via Email to EFB Head Office
➤ Submit Monthly EHS Reports to the nearest BWC/DOLE regional office.
Requirement
With atleast 2 years of expirience as Safety Officer III
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
