Job Summary:

Ensures a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace by implementing and monitoring safety policies, conducting regular inspections, and promoting a culture of safety across all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor company safety policies and programs in compliance with government regulations (DOLE, OSHC, etc.).
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits to identify potential hazards.
  • Lead incident investigations and prepare reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Organize safety training, drills, and orientations for employees and contractors.
  • Maintain updated documentation of safety permits, reports, and compliance records.
  • Coordinate with HR, Admin, and Facilities teams to ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Promote employee awareness and participation in safety initiatives and wellness programs.
  • Liaise with government agencies and external partners for compliance and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering, or any related field.
  • Certified Safety Officer (BOSH, COSH, or equivalent DOLE-accredited training).
  • At least 2–3 years of experience as a Safety Officer, preferably in a corporate or office-based environment.
  • Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to influence a culture of safety.
