Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Delegate Acquisition Specialist to join our dynamic team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving delegate registrations and attendance at our events through targeted outreach and relationship building. This role is critical to the success of our events, ensuring we attract the right audience and deliver value to our clients.

Outreach and Engagement:

  • Identify and engage potential delegates through phone calls, emails, and social media.
  • Develop and maintain a database of qualified leads.
  • Utilize various sales and marketing tools to enhance outreach efforts.

Relationship Building:

  • Build and nurture relationships with key industry professionals and decision-makers.
  • Understand the needs and interests of potential delegates to effectively communicate event value propositions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to prospective delegates.

Event Promotion:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute delegate acquisition campaigns.
  • Assist in the creation of promotional materials and content to attract delegates. ○ Participate in industry events and networking opportunities.

Sales and Targets:

  • Achieve and exceed delegate acquisition targets for each event.
  • Track and report on outreach activities, lead generation, and registration metrics. Continuously improve sales strategies and tactics based on performance data and feedback

Market Research:

  • Conduct research to identify emerging trends, key industry players, and potential new markets.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance delegate acquisition strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, delegate acquisition, or a related field, preferably within the events industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior-level executives.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with a passion for events and networking.
  • Ability to work autonomously and proactively seek business opportunities

Work Location

  • Home-based
  • Should have strong internet connection (minimum of 20 mbps)
  • Should have own Laptop/PC (minimum of i5 8GB RAM)
