Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Database Administrator with deep expertise in Oracle and MSSQL to join our growing team. This role is critical in ensuring the availability, performance, and security of our database systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain Oracle and MSSQL databases.
  • Ensure database uptime, performance, and security are within SLA targets.
  • Perform backup, recovery, and regular maintenance activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and outages.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance through proactive tuning and resource management.
  • Lead capacity planning and forecast database growth needs.
  • Coordinate with vendors for support, updates, and maintenance.
  • Implement and maintain best practices in database administration, change management, and patching.
  • Support data center operations and application optimization with a database-centric approach.
  • Document processes, configurations, and technical solutions.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration (Non-negotiable).
  • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in MSSQL Database Administration (Non-negotiable).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Familiarity with database virtualization and containerization.
  • Exposure to MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other DB platforms.
  • Experience with database monitoring tools (e.g., OEM, SSMS, or third-party tools).
  • Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and big data technologies.
  • Understanding of data analytics tools and best practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php80, Php90,000.00 per month
