Join BERNALDO PO PRESTO & POBLADOR LAW OFFICES (formerly BD&P Law Offices), a full-fledged law firm with 27 years of expertise helping multinational and local clients in various areas of legal practices. We are hiring three (3) EXPERIENCED lawyers and two (2) FRESH BAR PASSERS. CPA Tax Lawyers are also needed.

[Work Setup]

  • Daily onsite work in Ayala, Makati with 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM work shift
  • Monday to Friday work schedule with Saturday only when needed

[Job Requirements]

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a law firm (generalist) to qualify under experienced lawyer
  • Fresh Bar passers are welcome
  • CPA Tax Lawyers are also needed
  • Confident to handle litigation and dispute resolution, corporate and commercial law, labor and employment, tax, estate planning and probate, real estate and property, banking and finance, real estate and property, and immigration.
  • Excellent command in the English language both verbal and written
  • Ability to handle multiple clients with different and complex cases in various line of legal services
  • Confident in appearing to court hearings
  • Flexible, resourceful, can work under pressure, and has a proactive mindset
  • Can work independently as well as a team player and collaborative
  • High level of integrity and accountability
  • Analytical, good decision-making, mediation, and negotiation skills, confident, and highly driven

[Duties and Responsibilities]

  1. Conduct legal research using legislation, case law, legal texts, and gather information for legal cases.
  2. Draft letters, contracts, legal opinions, and pleadings.
  3. Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
  4. Complete court and administrative paperwork.
  5. Prepare documents for trial, case status reports, and inventory.
  6. Liaise with clients and attend or assist during meetings with clients.
  7. Evaluate findings, develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation and cases.
  8. Attend trial court hearings, office of the city prosecutor, and quasi-judicial agencies.
  9. Provide legal counsel to new and existing clients concerning business and legal transactions, claim liability, advisability of prosecuting, defending lawsuits, legal rights and obligations.
  10. Represent clients in litigations and other legal proceedings
  11. Manage or advise clients on legal transactions.
