Accounts Payable Assistant

SM Development is looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated Accounts Payable Assistant to join our growing team If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for financial accuracy, we want to hear from you.
The Role
As the Accounts Payable Assistant, your primary mission is to ensure all company payables are reviewed and processed with precision on a timely manner.
What You'll Do
- Financial Oversight: Conduct initial reviews of RFP, including receiving, monitoring, recording, and verifying payables accurately in SAP.
- Workflow Management: Manage day-to-day project payment cycle activities in a timely and efficient manner.
- Vendor Relations: Request vendor creation/updates in the online workflow and correspond with requestors to resolve inquiries.
- Reconciliation: Review contractor/supplier statements and reconcile their accounts.
- Reporting: Prepare adjusting entries for accounts requiring adjustments, especially during month-end closing.
- Collaboration: Perform other tasks as assigned to support the team's success.
Who We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in any Finance field from a reputable College or University.
- Must have relative experience working in Real Estate, Construction or Engineering
- Intermediate level of proficiency with SAP, MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Expert level of proficiency in MS Excel
- Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills
