In-House Security Guard

Job Summary: In-House Security Guard is responsible to protect the guests, employees and property at all times. He must keep a logbook of anything unusual or problematic that happens.

In-House Security Guard acts as a liaison between police and the bistro bar in the event that something happens. He needs to spend the majority of his time patrolling the grounds and premises of the establishment.

Responsibilities:

1. SURVEILLANCE - Must watch for unusual, illegal or dangerous activities occurring on the premises. He often patrols hallways, parking lots, stairwells, lobbies of the restaurant, etc. He might be assigned to a stationary post, such as beside an entrance. He might spend all or part of his shift watching the monitors for any suspicious activity;

2. ESCORT GUESTS AND EMPLOYEES – In-House Security Guard might also need to evict loiterers or trespassers from time to time.

3. MAINTAIN ORDER – He is responsible for enforcing rules by screening guests to ensure they are of age. The In-Security guard is the person tasked with informing guests they are parked in a restricted area. In an emergency situation, security might direct evacuation, or if a false alarm has sounded, they might need to help calm guests.

4. COMPLETE REPORTS – In-House Security Guard must keep a log or prepare a report of all activities during the shift. These logs record unusual occurrences, as well as routine actions. He makes notes if they must evict a loiterer, find an unlocked door that should have been locked or respond to a guest's complaint, these reports can be beneficial for police officers investigating crimes. Logs may be handwritten or entered into a computer,

Qualifications:

1. With prior experience in security work, law enforcement, or the military.

2. Should be physically fit and capable of performing security tasks such as patrolling, responding to emergencies, and restraining unruly individuals.

3. Must possess mental alertness, common sense, and problem-solving skills to handle different security situations.
4. Must exhibit integrity, honesty, and a high level of discipline in performing duties.
5. Must possess a good moral character and be able to submit a character reference or police clearance.
6. Should have good verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues, clients, and customers.

Education and Experience:

· At least high school graduate or has completed a vocational course related to security services.

· Flexibility to work various shifts;

· With at least 1 year experience as an In-House Security Guard in a restaurant.

Physical Requirements:

• In-house security guard may need to stand or walk for extended periods, patrol various areas, and respond quickly to incidents.
• He must be agile and capable of moving quickly to respond to emergency situations or unauthorized activities. He may need to climb stairs, navigate tight spaces, or run if necessary.
• Good vision and hearing are important to assess situations accurately, monitor surroundings, communicate effectively, and respond to alarms or distress calls.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php13, Php15,000.00 per month
