Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's / College Degree holder
  • Experience in Freight Forwarding and Brokerage is an advantage
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, innovative, hardworking, and determined
  • Preferably with at least 2 years of relevant experience in Freight Forwarding and Brokerage

Job Description:

  • Source and develop new sales leads and identify potential customers.
  • Use research, calls, and emails to find leads through trade contacts and industry listings.
  • Communicate regularly with potential clients to understand their needs.
  • Maintain good relationships with existing customers and ensure satisfaction.
  • Send freight proposals based on agreed rates with the Pricing team.
  • Work closely with Pricing, other departments, and offices to offer competitive rates.
  • Forward qualified leads to the Import Manager for closing.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service to track weekly and monthly bookings.
  • Collaborate with other offices to secure good rates and share sales leads.
  • Manage current accounts and grow the customer database.
  • Submit daily sales reports and track sales progress.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by superiors.
