
Security Officer

The candidate is responsible for the provision of efficient and adequate security and safety services to the property, including the leased premises, the protection, of all persons therein, and the maintenance of peace and order.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develops, recommends and implements security and safety programs for the Property;
- Conducts periodic inspection of the property, including the leased premises
- Ensure the removal of hazards or reports observations for appropriate actions;
- Monitor the presence, grooming, alertness, and customer mania of assigned security guards
- Control vehicular and pedestrian traffic and parking. Coordinate with the sanitation officer on removal of hazards like piles of uncollected garbage;
- Check for any unusual activity or abnormality.
- Apprehend all undesirable elements within AOR.
- Entertains inquiries, complaints, or request of lessees and/or customers or security and safety matters and attends to them promptly;
- Investigates incidents of violations and prepares the necessary documentation, including those related to property damage or loss.
- Checks all tenants' renovation and workers if covered by duly approved permit.
- Ensures the adequate and effectiveness of the safety Brigade and its equipment. Acts as Security Team Leader of the Safety Brigade and responds to all types of emergency situations;
- Ensures proper maintenance and safekeeping of firearms, and related equipment and devices;
- Prepares, submits, maintains and stores necessary reports and records (e.g. logbooks, files).
- Entertain lessee's inquiries, complaints or requests on matters concerning Security;
- Coordinate with the local law enforcement units on matters concerning security/investigations and other related concerns.
- Acts as Assistant Safety Brigade Marshall of his area and responds to all types of emergency situations.
- Serves as liaison to Safety for documentary and other requirements and monitors overall safety initiatives within property (e.g. fire/flood prevention, disaster management)
Qualifications
Education
- BS degree holder
Experience
- At least three (3) years of supervisory experience as Security Officer/Supervisor in corporate set up
