Overview:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Website Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive websites that align with client or company brand identity. This role involves collaborating with developers, marketers, and content creators to deliver engaging digital experiences that drive user engagement and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, plan, and implement website layouts, graphics, and user interface elements.
  • Create responsive and mobile-friendly designs that ensure optimal viewing across devices.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are accurately translated into functional websites.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all digital platforms.
  • Optimize websites for speed, usability, accessibility, and SEO best practices.
  • Stay updated with current design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously enhance website design quality.
  • Work closely with marketing and content teams to integrate text, images, videos, and other media.
  • Troubleshoot design and usability issues, providing creative solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Website Designer, Web Designer, or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (a plus).
  • Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace).
  • Strong attention to detail with a good eye for aesthetics and visual design.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of SEO-friendly design practices.
  • Familiarity with responsive frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind).
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in agile environments.

Work from Home Requirements (Must have before the start date)

  • Internet Connection : Min of 30 mbps wired internet connection speed AND a backup internet connection (before start date)
  • Computer/Laptop: The contractor must have a working computer with updated current programmes from home with Dual Monitors
  • Noise Canceling Headset (Plantronics)
  • Dedicated Home Office - Contractors are required to have a dedicated home office free from noise and distractions.
  • Must be comfortable working with a Monitoring Software (for payroll and timekeeping purposes only)
  • Webcam - Contractors must have a working webcam

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From Php30,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
