Commercial and Contract Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Commercial and Contract Manager to join our growing team. This role is pivotal in overseeing commercial agreements, managing contracts throughout their lifecycle, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, a solid understanding of contract law, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a dynamic business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts, including but not limited to service agreements, vendor contracts, client agreements, and NDAs.
- Provide strategic guidance on commercial risks, contract terms, and business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Legal, Finance, Procurement, Operations) to ensure contracts meet business objectives and compliance requirements.
- Monitor contract performance, key milestones, and deliverables; ensure renewals and amendments are managed proactively.
- Support project teams in resolving contractual disputes and managing change orders or claims.
- Ensure alignment with company policies, local regulations, and international standards (as applicable).
- Maintain a contract management database and ensure documentation is complete and up to date.
- Conduct contract-related trainings and briefings to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial and contract management, preferably in a corporate or multinational environment.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology, contract law, and procurement processes.
- Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and contract management tools/systems.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
