Job Title: Website Developer – E-commerce

Location: Remote (Servicing Philippines, Canada, and USA)

Schedule: Primarily PH Time; occasional PST shift in select months (e.g., Feb & May, certain days only)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Website Developer with strong experience in e-commerce, primarily on the Shopify platform. This role involves maintaining and enhancing our online stores, fixing technical issues, creating custom pages, and building microsites. You'll also be responsible for integrating apps, improving functionality, and ensuring smooth performance across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance Shopify-based e-commerce websites, ensuring optimal performance and user experience
  • Troubleshoot and fix bugs, broken links, and other website issues in a timely manner
  • Develop and customize pages, microsites, and site elements (both on Shopify and hard-coded platforms)
  • Integrate and configure various third-party apps and tools to extend site functionality
  • Collaborate with marketing and design teams to implement website changes and new features
  • Optimize site speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness
  • Perform quality assurance checks before deployment of updates
  • Ensure consistency of website branding and functionality across multiple markets (Philippines, Canada, USA)

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Website Developer with expertise in Shopify and Shopify Liquid
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end technologies
  • Experience with hard-coded websites and microsites
  • Proficiency in integrating and customizing Shopify apps and APIs
  • Solid understanding of e-commerce best practices, UI/UX, and responsive design
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating across teams and time zones

Work Schedule

  • Standard working hours follow Philippine Time (PHT)
  • Flexibility to shift to Pacific Standard Time (PST) on select days in February and May to accommodate key projects/events
