The QA Supervisor ensures that all products stored and handled within Apex Cold Storage facilities comply with company quality standards and regulatory requirements. This position oversees the quality assurance team, monitors operations, and implements programs that maintain food safety, sanitation, and product integrity from receiving to dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily QA activities within the cold storage facility.
  • Implement and monitor Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety, and Sanitation Programs.
  • Conduct regular inspections of warehouse areas to ensure compliance with QA and safety standards.
  • Review and maintain documentation related to temperature monitoring, product quality, and traceability.
  • Coordinate with Operations and Warehouse teams to address and resolve quality-related issues.
  • Lead investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conformances.
  • Train QA staff and warehouse personnel on food safety, hygiene, and proper handling practices.
  • Prepare quality reports and submit findings to management.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations (e.g., BFAR, NMIS, FDA) and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Food Technology, Microbiology, Agriculture, or related courses.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Food Safety, preferably in a cold storage or food manufacturing setup.
  • With knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and ISO 22000 standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Willing to work on-site and flexible with work schedules.
