Asset Management Associate
typically refers to a role within an organization's IT and Non-IT equipment. Responsible for tracking, maintaining, and optimizing the use of technology assets (hardware and software) across their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Asset Tracking: Maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventory using asset management systems (e.g., ServiceNow, SCCM, Intune, EasyVista, Etc)
  • Lifecycle Management: Oversee the procurement, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning of IT assets
  • Compliance: Ensure software licensing compliance and mitigate risks related to audits
  • Vendor Coordination: Work with vendors for purchasing, renewals, and returns of IT equipment and software
  • Reporting: Generate and analyze reports related to asset utilization, depreciation, and compliance
  • Documentation: Keep updated documentation on asset-related policies, procedures, and workflows
  • Support: Assist in internal audits and support other IT teams with asset-related queries

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with ITAM tools and databases
  • Understanding of IT hardware and software basics
  • Proficient in Excel and reporting tools
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Experience in procurement or IT operations is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field (preferred, but not always required)

Preferred Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
