Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Billing and Collection Assistant to support our finance team in managing billing, collection, and reconciliation processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, work independently, and handle customer interactions professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and issuance of billing statements to clients.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of payments.
  • Reconcile and record customer payments accurately into the system.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of customer payment statuses.
  • Prepare and submit collection-related reports as required.
  • Communicate with clients regarding outstanding balances, payment disputes, and inquiries.
  • Work with the finance team to resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with customers.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of financial records.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in billing, collections, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and any relevant accounting/billing software.
  • Trustworthy and professional demeanor with high attention to detail.
