Technical Premix Associate

JOB SUMMARY:

• The Premixman is the one who combines all ingredients for premixes according to recipe formula, carefully avoiding interchanging ingredients and formula.
• Responsible in receiving and safekeeping of all micro or hand add ingredients that will be used for premixes.
• Responsible in maintaining the confidentiality of all formulas or premix formulas of the company to prevent from imitation.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspects dry ingredients before premixing and release to production to ensure the ingredients are within the specified shelf life at the optimum quality required.
• Implements first in first out (FIFO) policy in disbursement of micro ingredients.
• Combines dry ingredients for premixes according to recipe formula, carefully avoiding interchanging ingredients and formula
• Conducts actual weighing of beginning inventories and withdrawn micro ingredients and prepares the needed report.
• Regularly checks the accuracy of weighing scales.
• Ensures that micro barrels or bags are reasonably cleaned and have individual scoopers.
• Ensures that no bags of micro ingredients are left open, torn and/or placed on the floor.
• Ensures that no bags of batched micro ingredients are left open and/or placed on the floor.
• Ensures that micro ingredient samples from QA from suppliers are blended back, kept or disposed of accordingly.
• Monitor and logs (in logbook) deliveries, consumptions and inventories of micro ingredients supplied by customers when applicable.
• Identifies and checks actual weights of medications in scales print-outs. Collects and files the print-outs.
• Ensures that batched micro ingredients are bagged in appropriate sacks and have proper identifications (product code and batched date).
• Responsible in the preparation of premixes for Toll Mill use.
• Reports significant inventory variances to Production Supervisor and/or Manager.
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of micro batching rooms and their surroundings, and micro storage air-conditioned room.
• Prepares a summary report of micro inventories in the barrels and batched micro ingredients on the floor during month-end inventory.
• Performs other functions as may be assigned by superior.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Preferably 2-year Technical Course Graduate
• With 1-2 years' experience in feed mill operations
• At least six (6) months experience in the same capacity
• Trustworthy and hardworking
• Able to withstand long hours of work
• Excellent health condition
