The Accounts Receivable Officer is responsible for managing the company's receivable transactions to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with Unilox's accounting standards and policies. This role involves preparing and issuing invoices, monitoring collections, reconciling accounts, and maintaining clear communication with clients and internal departments to ensure efficient cash flow and proper recording of all receivable-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, verify, and issue accurate invoices and official receipts based on sales and delivery documents.
  • Monitor customer accounts and ensure timely collection of payments.
  • Record and reconcile all collections, deposits, and customer transactions in the accounting system.
  • Generate aging reports and collection summaries for management review.
  • Coordinate with the Sales, Logistics, and Finance teams to resolve billing or payment discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized records of all receivable documents for audit and reference purposes.
  • Prepare and send statements of account and payment reminders to clients.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and BIR regulations related to receivables.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities and other finance-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting preferred (fresh graduates may be considered).
  • Proficient in MS Excel and familiar with accounting software or ERP systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and coordination abilities.
  • Demonstrates integrity, reliability, and a proactive attitude toward work.
