Job Summary

The Customer Operations Assistant supports the execution of trade marketing and promotional activities in assigned areas. The role ensures that marketing initiatives are effectively implemented at the store or field level to strengthen brand visibility, drive sales, and maintain strong trade relationships.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

A. Trade Execution & Merchandising

  • Ensure proper display, visibility, and placement of products in assigned outlets.
  • Implement trade marketing programs, promotions, and activations according to plans.
  • Monitor and replenish point-of-sale materials (POSMs), ensuring availability and correct usage.
  • Conduct regular store checks to ensure compliance with merchandising standards.
  • Gather feedback on competitor activities, pricing, and promotional strategies.

B. Sales & Promotion Support

  • Assist in setting up booths, sampling activities, and in-store promotions.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Distributors to ensure timely execution of trade activities.
  • Support field events, brand activations, and consumer engagement programs.
  • Provide on-ground support during launches or regional trade fairs.

C. Reporting & Documentation

  • Submit daily or weekly reports on trade executions, inventory, and competitor monitoring.
  • Document store performance, promo effectiveness, and consumer insights.
  • Maintain updated records of POSM deployment and utilization.

D. Coordination & Compliance

  • Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Logistics) for activity materials and schedules.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, brand guidelines, and trade marketing SOPs.

Basic Qualifications and Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or any related field.

Experience:

  • Preferably with 1–2 years of experience in field marketing, trade marketing, sales, or merchandising (FMCG experience is an advantage).

Skills:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and coordination abilities.
  • Basic understanding of sales and marketing principles.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to gather and analyze market data.

Other Requirements:

  • Willing to do fieldwork and travel regularly.
  • Can work under minimal supervision.
  • Should know how to drive and with a valid driver's license
  • Physically fit and adaptable to different working environments.
  • Will be assigned in Western Visayas (Iloilo or Bacolod)
