Responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, efficient material handling, and timely dispatch of goods. This role supervises warehouse staff, enforces company policies, and ensures compliance with safety and quality standards. The Warehouse Supervisor also supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing training.
  • Oversee the receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor and maintain stock accuracy through cycle counts, spot checks, and reconciliation of variances.
  • Ensure proper documentation of inbound and outbound transactions in the warehouse management system (WMS) or ERP.
  • Enforce compliance with occupational health and safety standards and company security policies.
  • Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and production teams to meet delivery schedules and operational requirements.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, orderliness, and equipment readiness.
  • Identify and report process gaps or inefficiencies and recommend improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare and submit reports on warehouse operations, including stock levels, staff performance, and KPI metrics.
  • Support management in implementing cost-control measures and operational targets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not always required).
  • At least 3 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics best practices.
  • Proficiency in ERP or warehouse management systems (WMS) and MS Office applications.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to safety, accuracy, and operational excellence.
