POSITION SUMMARY:

  1. To help maintain conformity to applicable Product Safety & ESD- related standards, regulatory and statutory requirements

  2. To supervise Product Safety and ESD personnel

  3. To handle internal and external PS & ESD-related tasks/interface

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1 Product Safety (PS) Audit

1.1 Prepare and host 3rd party Product and System Audt / Safety Agency certification audits

1.2 Conduct and/or Review of product audit and IPSA report

1.3 Conduct of in-process audit related to PS"

2 Product Safety Documentations and Other requirements

2.1. Review and approval of Product Safety Test Work Instruction (WIS) & Label Reference Sheet (LRS)

2.2 Factory PS documentation management (receipt, acknowledgement, keeping, distribution, etc of documents i.e. AAN, ACN, others

2.3 Ensure completion of PS-required tests such as but not limited to PSU EMI test, CNAS-accredited laboratory testing for transformers for CCC/CQC approved products, and other required activities."

3 ESD

3.1 Handles overall coordination of ESD control in the factory

3.2 Drive ESD compliance programs and controls

4 Other activities that need to attend to

4.1 Procedure review and revision (PS & ESD- related)

4.2 Drive PS & ESD improvements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: College graduate in the field of Engineering

Minimum Work Experience Required: Minimum of 3 years working experience in electronics or manufacturing industry
