Accounts Receivable (Cash Application) Process Associate

Location: McKinley West, Taguig

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (Cash Application) Process Associate to join our Finance team. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely application of customer payments, proper account reconciliation, and smooth end-to-end AR operations. This position plays a vital part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company's overall cash flow process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately post and apply customer payments (checks, wire transfers, ACH, and credit cards) to the appropriate accounts and invoices
  • Reconcile daily cash receipts and promptly resolve discrepancies
  • Investigate and clear unapplied or unidentified payments by coordinating with internal teams or clients
  • Maintain complete and organized documentation of all cash application activities
  • Support month-end and year-end Accounts Receivable closing activities
  • Collaborate closely with the Collections, Billing, and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless AR operations
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, SOX requirements, and financial reporting standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred but not required)
  • Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Cash Applications, or related finance functions
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to Php23,000.00 per month
