JOB SUMMARY:

The HR Business Partner (Assistant Manager) will provide direct HR support to the assigned brand/concept, working closely with both the Senior HRBP Manager and the Operation Leaders.

This role focuses on implementing HR initiatives, resolving people concerns, driving employee engagement, and supporting talent development—all aligned with business needs and SHG's core values.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

A. HR Support

  • Help with day-to-day HR concerns of the brand
  • Assist in resolving employee issues and disciplinary cases
  • Align HR efforts with brand goals
  • Coordinate short-term HR plans with the Sr. HRBP

B. Training & Development

  • Arrange training sessions with T&D and OD teams
  • Support performance reviews and employee growth plans
  • Help identify and develop high-potential team members

C. Employee Engagement

  • Run engagement activities specific to the brand
  • Organize store events and gather employee feedback
  • Suggest ways to improve morale and retention

D. Hiring & Onboarding

  • Work with the Talent Acquisition team for recruitment and onboarding
  • Help with exit interviews and employee transfers

E. Employee Relations

  • Assist in handling employee complaints and disciplinary actions
  • Ensure company policies and labor laws are followed
  • Help prepare reports and HR documents

F. Other Tasks

  • Join HR projects and support special brand initiatives
  • Participate in learning sessions or represent HR when needed

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, HR, or a related course
  • At least 2–3 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in the restaurant, retail, or hospitality industry
  • Familiarity with union, labor laws, employee relations, and HR processes
  • Knowledge in HRIS, recruitment, performance management, and training coordination
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • People-first mindset, proactive, values-driven, and collaborative
